Simple Video Rotator is a software that allows you to rotate your video files. Usually, when we record videos, sometimes we hold the device from both sides when recording in landscape mode. Depending on the phone, sometimes, they get recorded in the unintended orientation and you must use professional encoding software or video editing products supporting rotation to fix the videos. These, however, means that you can loose some quality due to the transcoding.

Simple Video Rotator is intended to allow fixing the orientation without having to encode the video file. This is done by adding a 'metadata' tag to the video which will allow supported players and social media to play back the file correctly. This is done without re-encoding the video file which means quality isn't lost in the process
